New In | Ciaté London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul

How is it October? Winter is drawing closer and whilst I'm still pouting over the lack of sun I am looking forward to the festive beauty sets which pop up this time of year. Ciaté has a few offerings for this Christmas (it definitely feels too early to say the C word but lets go with it), one being the Chloe Morello Beauty Haul (£45)*. This is a limited edition set which has been curated personally by beauty YouTuber Chloe Morello. It includes an eyeshadow palette, mini liquid velvet lipstick, mini wonderland mascara which all slot nicely into the included faux leather makeup pouch.

Ciaté is well known for their quality nail polishes but also have a line of colour cosmetics which I've become pretty familiar with recently. My favourite of their products has to be the Liquid Velvet Matte Lip Slicks and a mini version of their best selling shade 'Pin Up' is included in this set. The matte texture is really comfortable to wear, lasts well and is so pigmented. The formula includes Hyaluronic Acid which is supposed to give the appearance of smoother, fuller lips. I have quite full lips naturally so it's hard to tell how much this actually does for me but I will say that it's a really comfortable matte lip to wear and it doesn't feel drying. The other mini is the Wonderland Mascara which Ciaté claims it's a long-lasting, no-clump mascara which gives a false lash effect.

The 'pretty, fun and fearless' eyeshadow palette contains 15 shades (9 matte and 6 shimmer) and it's love at first swatch. The shadows are well pigmented and there's a good range of warm and cool tones to suit different skintones. I'm naturally drawn to the warmer colours at the top of the palette, 'shine bright' in particular is just beautiful. I love the cooler purple tones too which are perfect to wear this time of year. Some of these shades are new and unique to this palette.

Overall it's a great set for any Ciaté fans and the star of the collection is definitely the eyeshadow palette. There's so many shades to play with and this kit is ultra-portable making it the ideal set for travel. This is a limited edition collection so if you want it you'll have to grab it quick. The only place I've seen it available in the UK currently is ASOS (for US try Sephora). Find it here and the full details about the set can be found here on Ciaté's website.
